Hi Everyone - I am switching from shots to a Minimed pump (went with the clear, frosted glass-like case) in the next few weeks - is there any advice for mac users and the software from medtronics?

Click to read. fred …. at least have the conviction of character to admit that this health care bill will do nothing to lower costs and improve quality. let’s not mention the other economic effects it will have. major companies have already come out with projections as to the cost obamacare. the layoffs will also continue in medical field as well, medtronics will have to lay off hundreds of workers (medical devices).

My pump works great, is always running self tests to make sure it is working, and i have great customer support from medtronics (minimed). i choose that variable over have rollercoaster BGs all the time and that's y i switched from injections to the pump. the benefits of the pump are this: my pump has a "bolus wizard" that calculates my BG with amount of carbs i want to eat and also with whatever active insulin is still in my body. it is pretty awsome! your pump trainer will help you set up your carb ratio, insulin sensitivity etc.
