Saturday, November 22, 2008 meghan's birthday, part the first for meghan's birthday, we did some cosmic bowling at interstate lanes. well, the bookouts didn't bowl this time, because i had to focus on eating after my 6-hour-long class today, and dave had to focus on beer. and a bonus photo of dave in his new glasses, mostly because i really like the look of his mug.

Sunday, November 30, 2008 seafarers of catan last night, we headed over to candise and meghan's to play seafarers of catan, along with lisa k., leslie and cait. before we played, candise broke out some raki, an anise-flavored liquor from bulgaria, which turns cloudy when poured over ice. neither dave nor i fared very well at the game, but we had fun anyway. i especially enjoyed watching our typically mild-mannered friends getting pretty cutthroat and doing some serious trash talking.
