- A superfamily of pseudoscinine passerine birds containing the Menuridæ and Atrichiidæ, or the Australian lyre-birds and scrub-birds, characterized by the abnormal structure of the acromyodian syrinx, and the disposition of the tensor patagii brevis as in picarian birds.
