: The first advertising sales deal for a new unit of NBC Universal, signed with Wal-Mart Stores, is all about the "momtourage," a play on entourage that refers to the people who help mothers be better parents, including family members (maybe even fathers?), teachers, neighbors and baby sitters.
Wal-Mart is sponsoring momtourage material that is to start appearing this week on two NBC Universal outlets: the iVillage Web site and the "Today" show on NBC, in a multimillion-dollar deal.
Does it make anything more clear (other than the speaker's attempt to sound clever) when you refer to your all-male posse as a "mantourage" _ or group of mothers as a "momtourage" for that matter?
They include a campaign co-sponsored by NBC and Wal-Mart promoting the website momtourage. com which provides advice for mothers.
We here at momtourage are actually a quite diverse crowd.
