OMG, I was reading that Anita Blake description and I had this weird shocked, excited thought that it was heading to where Anita would fall in love with Bennington, a normal human, and their love would cure her of all the weirdness, and monstery stuff, sort of like in a normal romance, where the person is tortured in some way, and the love of the right person makes them whole. and vice versa.
