  • noun A blue-grass, Poa Fendleriana, found on mesas and dry hills from Colorado to Arizona and California. It is valuable for grazing, as is suggested by the name, originally applied to a smooth subspecies, P. Fendleriana Arizonica. Also called California and Fendler's blue-grass.
