rolig commented on the word mytninskoe naberezhnoe
Note: I misspelled, or actually misgendered - neutered! - this name when I entered it (it's feminine, probably to match an implied "ulitsa" - "street"). The proper spelling, or rather, transliteration, is mytninskaya naberezhnaya.

Yes (but as St. Petersburg); I stayed in a dorm on Vasilevskii Island-- maybe the very one you mention, because I was within walking distance to the Pribaltiiskaia.
No, Mytninskoe is on the Petrograd Side (Petrogradskaya storona). But ulitsa Shevchenko is on Vasilievsky Island, not too far from the Pribaltiyskaya Hotel. Do you know St. Petersburg/Leningrad?
Мытнин?кое набережное – from the now-archaic word мытн? (mytnya), meaning "customs", hence: Custom House Embankment. The site of the dormitory for exchange students at Leningrad State University.
