  • noun In chem., a substance which may be viewed as consisting of neodymium oxid united to the oxid of a monobasic or electropositive metal, or as a salt in which neodymium forms part of the acid radical: as, barium neodymate (BaO.Nd2O3 or Ba(NdO2)2).
