The word “nerd” is thrown around so frequently nowadays, it’s more or less completely lost its impact and its negative implications; everyone who owned a comic book or got called a name in high school seems all too happy to proclaim their nerdhood nowadays, turning the once negative stigma into a devauled, vague adjective to describe just about anyone.
