I guess you are right, supporting a country like Israel is not so unusual based on our past. netanyahu's idea to build the Palestinian economy is a good one .. people with jobs, homes, and prospects are less likely to want to kill and die ... now if we can just get him to couple that with a 2 state solution we might actually make progress. maybe we can get Iran to agree to recognize Israel if Israel recognizes an independant Palestine.
