It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. he's a 1+ WAR player with power and defense, upside enough to pull off a Joe Crede type season playing for the minimum. and doesn't he have a say whether or not he'll go to the minors in the first place? between vizquel and teahen, nix's skills are totally redundant on this team.
