  • n. The typical genus of Opomyzid√¶. It comprises small, somewhat linear flies of a yellowish color, often with spotted wings, found in meadow-grass. About 20 European and 1 North American species are known.

  • Whilst recent weather has not been favourable for orange blossom midge, earlier this year we found more widespread damage from less common pests such as gout and opomyza flies.
