All the data showed, pretty conclusively, that P. humilis is not a corvid, but in fact a parid.
This behaviour is indeed well known (Perrins 1992), but it was still news to me (incidentally, Blue tits are no longer in the genus Parus: parid taxonomy was recently revised).
As long as it isn't tax payer money and the Obamas parid for it themselves we should leave them be.
