Yes, I am aware that there are no more actual B-sides as there are no more 45 singles, but there are plenty of soundtrack cuts, one-offs, piss-takes, Japan-only tracks, Peel Sessions, ITunes exclusives, and Australian tour EPs out there for bands to fill up a nice compilation.
Nowadays the words to describe mental and physical disability have changed quite possibly because people did use the words disparagingly, a trivial example is when descriptions like differently-abled, mentally-challenged are used, we end up with piss-takes where bald becomes follically-challenged, or differently-hirsute and so on.
The Village People were not, as I thought, being parodied, spoofed, piss-taken or exaggerated: YMCA really was, well, just as the parodies, spoofs, piss-takes etc depicted it.
