  • In ornithology, in Sclater's arrangement of 1880, a suborder of Passeres, including the Acromyodi abnormales of Garrod and Forbes, or the genera Menura and Atrichia of Australia, as together distinguished from Oscines, or normal acromyodian Passeres.
