Seeing bad stories recced is something I'm used to, as is seeing stories that just aren't to my taste.
New reader of your blogs here Nalini, your Psy/Changeling books were recced to me by a friend a few months ago and I sped through them, I can't wait for the next one.
Royworld is my new favourite band, they are so dorky, but I think I recced pretty much everything available on my last music post.
I avoided them, no matter how highly recced: why read about HP if there was no magic, mutants if they had no powers, Batman if he didn't have Gotham?
Obviously I'm being subjective here, but I think the unusual subject of the story (Bender/Brian) as well as its good execution caused it to get recced a lot (I swear it showed up on every other rec list) so I think maybe that is why.
Plus I'm pretty sure I've recced that about twice already.
It is organized by tabs, so you can see who recced what.
It didn't get recced at all, but neither did the other two Turner stories; it's a pretty small fandom, and I understand that.
They've gotten rid of their Tail Spin icon er I last recced 'em (for Automatic, that time).
May have recced that one before but risking a repeat here.
