are redfield scopes just leupold vx 1 scopes with a different finish? anybody seen these new redfield's yet? 2010

Q: just a comment: i'm making a concoius effort to get back to the kind of hunting i did when i was younger, no ultra fancy rifles with 1000 dollar scopes, no expensive camo, just me, my winchester model 70, my redfield scope, and my family enjoying the outdoors and enjoying the hunt.

When I was six I saw my granfather shoot a muley doe at 648 yards (bang flop) with a 264 win mag and 3x9 redfield.
