Most of what paul says about revit is very valuable - after all - he has for a long time been well known as a revit expert and trainer .. but i would like to comment on a couple of items he posted about revit that i don't agree with .. (isn't that what makes these discussions fun? of course it is) paul says:

"architectural desktop" lol .. anyway - Affinity is not happening folks .. the idea of revit is that everyone comes together about what the new building should be - and then the revit model builder translates that into a model as everyone guides the development of the model .. just think holistic - like it always was before CAD came along ..

To get your revit files back, just change the jpg extension back to a. rvt,. rfa or. rte depending on it was kind of revit file it was.
