  • A family of monocotyledonous plants of the order Naiadales, the arrow-grass family, chiefly characterized by racemed or spiked flowers and united carpels. There are four genera, of which Scheuchzeria is taken as the type and Triglochin is the best known. See Juncaginaceæ.
