  • noun Hubrecht's name (1879) of a division of nemertean worms, correlated with Hoplonemertea and Palæonemertea, containing the sealongworms which have the head fissured, the mouth behind the ganglia, and no stylets in the proboscis, as Lineus, Cerebratulus, Langia, and Borlasia.
