The festival I just organised had a spear throwing competition. We had about 30 contestants, each trying to throw a traditional Aboriginal spear at a target about 40 metres away. The target was a small cardboard carton with a bullseye painted on it. Mr C Gaykamangu put a spear straight through it with his third throw and won first prize.
