  • This was the common name given to Garibaldi biscuits in Ireland when I was growing up. The 'squashed fly' designation comes from the large number of raisins in each biscuit, and their detached from a roll of flypaper appearance.

  • Yes, but not as yummy as schpring-schprong biscuits. Within this latter class, opinions vary on which is best, though my vote is squarely with the chocolate Kimberley.
