On the other hand... think how many jobs she created. Look at all those sumptuously- (weirdly-?) dressed women standing around in the background. Getting paid to stand around. A whole movie studio, from executives to best boys and grips, were set in motion to grind out a string of these Esther Williams movies. Think of it! An entire genre was built on this kind of real swimming! ...
... I'm frightened.
