I got to work early to bag a decent 4×4, I was first in line so I got “the best” a 1995 Nissan terrano with a gazillion miles on it and squeaks and rattles in all the WRONG places …
Two new landys (Bloody excellent piece of kit) and a knackered old nissan terrano for when the poop really hits the fan.
I am certain that “terrano” means “land” or “terrain”, because of the fact that this is a land vehicle and because of its similarity to the Spanish word “terreno” which means the same thing.
I will tell you one more, terrano, the red grape that Fred Plotkin mentioned.
You won't find vitovska listed in many reference books, except for Fred Plotkin's excellent "La Terra Fortunata: The Splendid Food and Wine of Friuli-Venezia Giulia," in which he writes: "In Trieste and Carso, people see themselves in the red terrano and the white vitovska."
Loc: Somerset no pic use a nissan terrano SWB, wish we had a LWB though for several reasons.
