  • noun A genus of zygomycetous fungi, of tho family Mucoraceæ, having two kinds of conidial sporangia, of which the primary is terminal and provided with a columella, and tho secondary lateral and without a columella. About 10 species are known. T. elegans is a common species found on dung and various decaying substances.
