  • noun A colorless compound, prepared by the action of 3,4-toluylene-diamine on pyrocatechol. It crystallizes in needles, melts at 117° C, boils, with some decomposition, at about 350° C, and may be Sublimed. Also called 2-methylphenazin and toluphenazin.
