I never know how to underpack, and by the end of my last trip when I went to Kurdistan, one of the reasons it was so difficult getting out of Kurdish Iraq was that I had somehow gotten to the point where I was carrying three large pieces of luggage, and as somebody who didn't have a car, it's a sort of insanity.
