A form of word-blindness through familiarity, I guess.
Liz Brooks of the Dyslexia Institute very kindly introduced me to the difficult but no longer impossible world of word-blindness.
Herein this sort of word-blindness agrees fully with the physiological word-deafness of the normal child without speech, whose hearing is good.
