  • noun In Porto Rico, a name applied to several trees having a slender trunk and a crown of large palmate leaves. Yagrumo hembra (female yagrumo) is a name applied to the hollow-stemmed Cecropia peltata, and yagrumo macho (male yagrumo) to the solid-stemmed Didymopanax Morototoni. See grayumo.
