This is the premiere event of the bananalympics.

The bananalympics symbol is comprised of 107 intertwined round bananas, representing the 107 countries where bananas are known-to-be-grown.

Teams, called 'bunches', have up to 400 members.

Each team member selects a different event from the bananathlon list of disciplines and each of the bunch must enter each event.

The winning bunch is the team that, in the opinion of the judges, who have a natural bent, are the most convincing.

The first three are awarded a big fuck-off banana-yellow underwater light transformer, affectionately know as the top banana.

All competitors have to be out of their tree to compete.
