I totally don't understand Keeping Time. No matter how many times I read it... It seems the short story only talks about people who are dying because of some kind if disease which makes people lose weight.
Can someone kindly explain what's the theme of the story? What specific literary techniques/devices does the author use to underline or make prominent the theme? How does the author use or manipulate these techniques to make the story and its theme work?
