Lawnboro: a town/community, characterized by well-cared for lawns.
This word would replace, in some instances, the terms "suburban"
and "bedroom community." Not all towns grew up in response to
proximity to a city. They are not less than -- sub -- urban. They have
some features that are better and some worse than the closest big city.
However, there can be no disputing that the vast majority of lawns
surrounding the homes in these areas are a point of pride and are carefully, often lovingly, maintained.
