  • I have only seen this word used on legal documents - mine!

    It makes me feel uncomfortable - to say the least - but then virtually ALL legal jargon makes me feel the same.

  • only heard this word in reference to films --- by a so called expert ( He was a prof at USC film school ) ...and when no one in the audience quite got the definition correct, he made a couple sarcastic remarks - needless to say THIS did not endear him to our small community which is faaarrrr from Hollywood.

  • years ago I heard this word used ...as in Paradigm Shift... so many times, I actually started documenting the day, speaker, and number of times per lecture. ....not hearing it so much anymore...Has the paradigm shifted?

  • as in ingesting footage into editing software - every time I hear "ingest media" I get a very uncomfortable feeling that the software is eating the video.
