  • In an old, unabridged Webster's dictionary, "zyzygy" is defined as all of the planets having moved to the same general location in the sky. However, it has become close to impossible to find the word, "zyzygy," defined by anybody anymore. "Syzygy" is much easier to find and it is defined as just 3 planets or celestial bodies (such as the sun, moon, and Earth) in a straight line.
