spoonyalchemist commented on the word vegetarian
That's a good point. Though I think they do use drugs and stuff to make them produce more milk, so decreased demand for milk might alleviate some of the mistreatment.I dunno, I'm just speculating here. I'm a vegetarian, not a vegan. ;P
In response to sionnach's question about how animal products that don't kill animals are harmful:One of the major reasons people go vegetarian/vegan is because of the treatment of animals by the food processing industry. For example, I don't think eating meat is morally wrong, however I do think the mistreatment of animals bred for consumption is wrong (plus I don't feel right eating meat, but that's just my personal feeling).Animals used for milk, eggs, etc. are mistreated in the same way beef cattle, pigs, etc. are mistreated. People go vegan in protest against that.

I'm the vegetarian. :PI think you would say food is "vegetarian" and I am "a vegetarian," right?

This reminds me of when I was in third grade and my teacher gave me the homework assignment of finding ten words with all five vowels in them. WAY too hard for a third grader. >_<I did, it though. It just took forever.
spoonyalchemist commented on the word schnabel halten
A crude way of telling someone to shut up in German; my German friend says it roughly translates to "shut your beak."

Bard, man, bard! You're subverting the proper order of things!(I assume from your comment on Yggdrasil, which I suspect indicates familiarity with Xenogears, that you did indeed name yourself after that line from FFIV.)Apparently you're number 7,000.
