super trooper referrs to the powerful spotlight creating a light circle around a performer on stage.In their song Abba was referring to being in a spotlight all the time
(on or off stage).It seems to be a jergon term but a further investigation would be needed
to find out if it was a term commonly used by the stage technician .(Perhaps in some countries only or maybe only at some (maybe one)particular venue)
