  • Ruth Ann Harnisch is a writer, investor, coach, and philanthropist who founded ""The Harnisch Foundation"", which runs the Awesome Without Borders Chapter of the Awesome Foundation. She is the founding funder of The Institute of Coaching at Harvard, 2 the annual International Coaching Research Forum, as well as The Coaching Commons, a worldwide forum for coaching news and commentary.

    Harnisch is a proponent of creative philanthropy whose unusual charitable investments have landed her on The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Today Show. She was previous a reporter and anchored at the CBS-TV affiliate in Nashville, TN, a daily talk-radio program on WLAC-AM, and was a columnist for 17 years for the Nashville Banner.

    In July 2014, Harnisch was added to the Forty over 40 list.
