In order like this, it would be alfabēts. But you'd learn it from your ābece.
The letters? No. Not that I know of. My family left around that time--the Latvians I know in the US still speak the pre-WWII language (which is hilarious when you have to talk about computers and stuff).
Strange that "o" should be the only vowel without a macronic partner.
