Also called erotic asphyxiation, autoerotic asphyxia, or breath control play. The practice of a person (called a gasper) of intentionally reducing the amount of oxygen to their brain during sexual stimulation in order to heighten pleasure from orgasm. It is similar to a practice by some youth in modern times which is known as the choking game which provides a sensation (impending loss of consciousness).
