To avoid the Genie's Curse, one must articulate what they desire with clear and specific language, because all vague or subjective wishes may be twisted into their most sinister, ironic, or mocking forms. Especially if working with disgruntled Genie.
In the Genie's Curse, one could even be entrapped by the classic joke-response, "I wish for more wishes!"--because without defining the type of wish in specifics, the Genie could narrow the field and twist the results...
