Glaumy was used in our household to describe a food usually, that was thick and uninteresting eg, this porridge is too glaumy,I can't be bothered eating it.
However glaumy can also apply to other things eg. that pink and maroon painted house looks so glaumy the two colours are similar and lie heavily together.
Glaumy can mean anything that is dull, uninteresting and heavy.
