The ammoniacal gas eliminated from its solution in water by the action of the generator, analyser, and rectifier, passes onwards to the liquefactor or liquifier, wherein by its own pressure it is reduced to a liquid, and is collected in the receiver; the liquid ammonia so obtained being practically anhydrous.
