  • The act of planning to procrastinate

    December 29, 2008

  • Exactly. It's like preworry.

    December 29, 2008

  • But why would you plan to procrastinate? Isn't procrastination at its finest when it's--well, when it's delayed? Why procrastinate early?

    December 30, 2008

  • If you don't plan to procrastinate, you might spend too much time working. By assessing what you have to do (which in itself is a delaying tactic), you might find that it will take less time than your preworried impression suggested. So precrastinating leaves more time for procrastinating.

    December 30, 2008

  • Yes, mollusque, exactly. For example, reesetee: "Let's see... I ought to have this done and that done, by the end of the day. That gives me ... hmm... 45 minutes to blow on Wordie before lunch."

    December 30, 2008

  • Only 45 minutes? What's wrong with you people?

    January 1, 2009

  • Well... it was just an example...

    January 1, 2009

  • Oh.

    *continues playing on Wordie*

    January 1, 2009

  • Precrastinate is the free version.

    January 1, 2009
