I chose the host name "rejectamenta" because that's really how I saw my life.
It was an absolutely fascinating discussion about rejectamenta which is the coolest synonym for garbage that I've ever heard, about how trash collection is really controlled nowadays by three big corporations, about how a capitalist society relies on the temporary nature of its products so that new consumption will feed the economy, about the engineering of landfills, about the campaign to obliterate the use of refillable bottles...
I still do, to some extent. rejectamenta was another LJ option I wanted but couldn't get.
