Suayres commented on the word son-in-love
This term, I learned from a dear friend. She has since passed away, but I'd like to share with as many folks as possible, this idea as an alternative way to see the young men (and women) who marry into our families. Since time immemorial, we address them as sons-in-law, or daughters-in-law. Such cold, legalistic terminology! No, I prefer to think of my daughter's husband as my son-in-love. The term is MUCH more accurate. Oh, & please, feel free to use it.
