  • 'Spationomics'. The ability of animals to negotiate space and time to achieve both elemental and advanced goals. Spationomics are reflected in the ability of the eagle to track and catch his prey in space and time; they are also reflected in Wayne Gretzky's ability to know his 'game' environment and act on this knowledge instantaneously; or the surgeon's ability to imagine a tumour and the required 'work' that can (or cannot) remove it. It is further reflected in the logical and sometimes creative thinking in space and time of craftsmen and inventors. It is sometimes referred to as spacial intelligence and/or creativity.
