This site has a collection of links and information about weirdpunk; who came up with the genre name, what bands are being described as, or describe themselves as, or describe themselves as NOT weirdpunk.
It should also be noted that the phrase 'weird punk' is often, but not always, the same thing. the previously mentioned site has some references that may not be the same as weirdpunk... but rather something more akin to 'weird, punk...'
