More than a century has passed since the most recent paradigm shift in physical sciences(I prefer using physical sciences to natural sciences in here) took place and scientists are revealing the quantum aspects of living one after another. This list intends to cover the conceptual, the established, the emerging and the controversial installments, which all begin with "quantum", to the growing linguistic pool about the quantum world(or quantum reality to make it intangible).

It should be noted that these phrases are not derived from the same purpose if considered semantically. Sometimes the word quantum depicts the reality(i.e. quantum field, this is the most direct function of an adjective), sometimes it is because the phenomena concerns the quantum effects(i.e. quantum liquid/gas) and other times it could be a method(i.e. quantum imaging) or a comparison(i.e. quantum interference/correlation as to their classical counterparts), etc. The author plans to elaborate on this as an example for the implicit logic of scientific word-formation techniques, which is occassionally illustrating yet for most of the time vulnerable to improper interpretations.
