About
Michael Dungan’s work is dedicated to discovering new abundance in our community by reclassifying waste as an asset. Through his consultancy APISync, LLC, the community project ZeroLandfill, and the online material flow connector BeeDance, LLC, Michael is disrupting the status quo and bringing new understanding to the role of waste in our society.
In 2009, Michael was appointed as the Burton D. Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Integrative Entrepreneurship Program at Hiram College. Michael also serves on the board of directors for Entrepreneurs for Sustainability (E4S) and advanced energy start-up Polyflow Corporation. He is a member of the advisory board for the arts advocacy group RED DOT Project and serves as an online editor for COSE Mindspring.
Michael is a native of Warren, Ohio and is a graduate of Youngstown State University. When not exploring distant shorelines or local bee yards, Michael calls the City of Green home.
