  • Hypsi is short for Hypsiprymnodon, the Latin name for Australia's smallest and oldest kangaroo. This half-hour natural history documentary follows the work of young zoologist Andrew Dennis as he undertakes the first study of Hypsi the musky rat-kangaroo, in its rainforest habitat in far north Queensland. The musky rat-kangaroo was first described by scientists in 1875, but until now little has been known about this most unusual macropod.
